Kamaraj college Alumni Association was formed on 27th March 1983 at a meeting conducted by the then prof.S. Selvaraj. First an adhoc commmitee was formed by a team of 15 members. Perunthalaivaar K.Kamaraj birthday was celebrated as first event. Usually the anniversary of association is celebrated on October 2nd . For such celebrations we invites SP, DSP and ASP from police department, higher officials from Indian Customs & Central Excise Service, porttrust and Income tax and also we honour two alumni in every anniversary. Throughout the day various programmes such as 5 miles running race, volley ball, basket ball, and badminton matches, slow cycle races for women, Treasure Hunt for two wheelers, variety games are conducted. Important decisions which uplift the association’s functioning are taken in the general body meeting. Attractive awards such as gold coins, cash and certificates are given to the winners and runners. |
